Last minute, I found the ISD Ren faire in riverside CT and rushed in a vendor application.  I must be smoking something, for sure!  I'll avoid the hello kitty bandaids ha!   The deadline for an application was the 16th, still haven't heard from them and its making me anxious.

In the meantime, still gearing up for ansonia, and getting all my stock together, which is taking a bit longer than i expected.  I figure by the time I'm all set I will have somewhere around 150 framed pieces of art.   Besides that, with some help from Gale my father is making me some display stands for them, going off the pictures of what she's using.  I'm praying this works ha!

I came up with a way to "get medieval" on the front of my tent.  A local fabric store was going out of business, so I got ten feet of this dark brown felt trim in a scallop pattern.  I've attached a top thin border of gold, and then in a lighter felt made larger sheilds to go underneath.  I spent all yesterday hand cutting out burgundy felt patterns of unicorns and dragons which I've attached to those.

I have decided, if I never see fabric glue again, this would be a good thing! 

This year, will be my first time as a vendor at any Renaissance faire, and I had no idea just how com-pli-cated it really all can get.  So many things to think about!  To add to it, though I had planned just to do one faire this year to vendor, an opportunity came my way, so I'm throwing in my hat for a one day faire in four weeks!  aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Can you tell I'm anxious?? LOL

Every time I think I have everything under control, I realize there's something I didn't think about!  All the nessesary items, my word! 

I have my tent, have to finalize my product (aaaaaaaaaah!), got insurance, paid the fees.... but its the other stuff thats driving me mad!

If I can't show any modern equipment, how do i cell phone in credit cards?  Or use the swiper?  What if I cant fit all this stuff in my car?  Are the clothes I'm wearing appropirate??  Will I get kicked out for something stupid..... like forgetting to take off a watch or having on a hello kitty bandaid?  (I have kids, its a distinct possibility).

I'm driving myself nuts as the time winds down to D-day! LOL.  Some one please assure me its not aas difficult as it seems! ha!
